FMCMEA Honor Jazz Concert April 15, 2010

The 2010 FMCMEA Honor Jazz Band Concert was held this year at Woods Elementary School and featured Central California's best of the best Intermediate and High school jazz performers. WELL WE DID IT!! $583 WAS HANDED OVER TO MR LUCCKESI - THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH TO MY SOOPER SCOOPER SUE, AND ALL THE OTHER PARENTS THAT EITHER WORKED, OR DONATED TOPPINGS OR CASH - MR. LUCCKESI WAS SHOCKED, AND VERY PLEASED AT HOW MUCH WE MADE!! SO, MY GOAL NEXT YEAR IS $650.....CAN WE DO IT??
THE NEXT SPECIAL CONCERT WILL BE THE SPRING CONCERT & ICE CREAM SOCIAL - GET THOSE SCOOPERS READY!! THIS YEAR IT WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER - STAY TUNED FOR THE SPECIAL THEME OF THE NIGHT! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE A TOPPING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I'LL SIGN YOU UP! BELOW IS A LIST OF SOME OF THE TOPPINGS WE'D LIKE TO HAVE, AS PER STUDENTS REQUESTS.
For the 1st year I personally supplied everything, and the 2nd year a couple of parents brought toppings. Even though my son has graduated I am still very happy to support the amazing BEC jazz program by supplying all the Baskin-Robbins ice cream and paper supplies, but I need your help with the toppings and bottled water.
- M&M's frozen then broken up
- Reese's Pieces, or cups that have been frozen then broken up
- Brownies - broken up
- Chocolate Chips
- Fresh Bananas
- Pineapple Chunks
- Chocolate Syrup
- Caramel Syrup
- Whipped Cream
- Cherries - need 2 large jars (I found Smart n Final has the best price)
- 2 cases of bottled water - call me for suggestions - too much to type :0)

I will provide five 3 gallons tubs of Baskin-Robbins Vanilla, Chocolate and the Lucckesi Special - Strawberry! The past 2 years gave the jazz program an additional $700 in funds. I'd like to see us do that much this year! YES, my goal is to break the record of the past 2 years - IN ONE NIGHT!!! I know we can do it. Tell your friends and neighbors and of course all of your family members. This is open to ANYONE - not just jazz families.
